Student Matinees JULIUS CAESAR | FALL 2024 Student-focused performances of Julius Caesar staged with a unique focus by innovative local theatre makers. Includes Q&As with actors and production team, as well as curriculum materials for instructional support. Bring your lunches and eat on the lawn at the Samuell-Grand after the show. Two matinee dates are available on Wednesday, October 2, and Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Student matinee performances begin at 10:00 am. $10 per student, free bus parking. Partner with Urban Air to plan your favorite field trip of the year! Our goal is to provide physical, social, and mental challenges that show how different disciplines are used in the "real" world. Our curriculum is specific to Urban Air only and you won't believe how much the kiddos have while learning and exercising at the same time. All curriculum is STEAM Certified and counts towards your physical education minutes. Each school will be provided a PDF Pre-Field Trip Lesson and Activity to help prepare students and teachers for the academic content discussed at each station. This learning experience is guided by a trained Urban Air Employee and includes a Learning Passport for students to complete during the field trip. After a field trip is complete, schools will receive a Follow Up Lesson And Activity, so that the learning can continue even after the trip is done. One of the most exciting arts partnership programs offered anywhere, the School Concert Education Program is designed to be an integral part of the fine arts curriculum for elementary school students. The School Concert Program consists of: An online multi-media presentation with teaching elements designed around the program's music and composers, complete with music excerpts and photos. PSO musician school campus visits to demonstrate and discuss their instrument and what it's like to be a professional musician in the orchestra. A concert experience field trip given during the second semester. This is the culmination of the program. Reinforced learning following the concert experience. In 2023, over 18,000 people attended School Concerts from seven different school districts. Of the participating schools, 37% serve Title I students.
